Today is the day! 

It's our very first IAHE Facebook party. If you've been following along this week you know we're capping off our online registrations for the 2013 Home Educators' Convention. Thanks to the support of our generous donors we're giving away over $700 in door prizes!


Tonight, we'll be chatting on our Facebook page starting at 7:00 pm with our very special guests Jay Wile and Kathie Morrisey. Jay Wile is the author of the award-winning "Exploring Creation with" series of junior-high and high-school science courses. Kathie Morrissey is the owner of the Character Corner (formerly the Courtship Connection). Both will be available to chat and answer your questions about homeschooling. We'll also have our own IAHE volunteers ready to chat about the convention.

We've already posted several door prizes this week... with some of them scheduled to end during our Facebook party. You might win! We have a dozen more door prizes that will go live during the party. Some giveaways will be open till Saturday, but... our Grand Prize giveaway will only be available for a short period of time. You won't want to miss the announcement, so be sure to join us for the party!

The IAHE is excited to have Dr. Brian Ray as one of our keynote speakers for 

the 2013 IAHE's Home Educators' Convention. Dr. Ray in a nationally recognized expert on homeschooling and heads the NHERI (National Home Education Research Institute). NHERI conducts and collects research about homeschooling (home-based education, home schooling), and publishes the research journal called the Home School Researcher. Join us at the convention to hear Dr. Ray.
